48 Panhead by Jamesville

was es für verrückte zufälle gibt...

vor über 2 jahren habe ich in einem forum bilder der 48er panhead von JAMESVILLE, dänemark gefunden. das bike hat mich wahnsinnig begeistert und durch die makellose umsetzung einer stimmigen linie bis heute geprägt.

vor 2 wochen war bei unserem lokalen harley dealer in hannover saison eröffnung 2016. und jetzt ratet mal welches bike dort im showroom zum verkauf angeboten wurde?! genau - die 48er pan made in denmark.

over 2 years ago i found some pics of the 48 panhead built by JAMESVILLE, denmark. the bike has impressed me so much with his perfect line. you can say it has influenced me until today.

2 weeks ago there was the season opening 2016 at our local harley dealer in hannover. and now guess what i found in the showroom?! exactly - the 48 pan made in denmark.

new season, new paint!

kurz vor saisonbeginn habe ich die teile vom lackierer zurück bekommen, die im winter komplett neu designt wurden. das resultat ist der hammer!

nachdem der umbau doch eine ganze weile länger gedauert hat als ursprünglich geplant möchte ich euch jetzt mein fertiges bike präsentieren.

wiring

langsam ist ein ende in sicht. das verkabeln gehört zu den letzten schritten.

das zündschloss und der tacho sitzen zwischen den beiden tankhälften. der tacho bekommt sein signal vom vorderrad und nicht mehr vom getriebe.

close to the finish. the wiring of the bike is one of the last steps.

the ignition lock and the speedo are between the two tank halves. the analogue speedo gets the signal from the front wheel not from the transmission.
